Colorado Attractions

Colorado is fast becoming one of the premiere destinations for arts and culture enthusiasts and boasts several internationally recognized institutions.  The Denver Art Museum introduced a new wing designed by visionary architect Daniel Liebskind in 2006, while the Museum of Contemporary Art/Denver opened their David Adjaye designed masterpiece in the fall of 2007 to widespread acclaim.  The Denver Center for the Performing Arts hosts the Colorado Symphony Orchestra and is a regular stop for Broadway touring companies.  And don’t forget the world-class National Western Stock Show that rolls in to town every January: it’s a Colorado tradition and the most highly regarded livestock show in the country.  For all the green thumbs out there, the Denver Botanic Gardens offers mountain beauty and great concerts, while Colorado also features some of the best shopping and dining west of the Mississippi.
