Provide Forums for Elected Officials on Business Friendly Public Policy

- Taxes
- Coordinate and Lead Douglas County Business Alliance
- Organize “Day at the Capitol” for SEBP Members
- Create forums for ballot initiatives
- Create forums for 2008 candidates
WATER
- Continue to assist the South Metro Water Authority in achieving their goals
- Continue joint PR efforts to support the goals of the County and water providers
- Advocate and lobby for appropriate water legislation
- Continue to educate the public and elected officials about Douglas County’s water situation
TRANSPORTATION
- Assist Governor in finding transportation funding solutions and help with implementation
- Work with local jurisdictions and TMA
- Support FasTracks efforts through lobbying and education
- Lobby on appropriate transportation legislation
- Participate in Move Colorado
- Participate in the Transportation Advocacy Coalition
BUSINESS FRIENDLY PUBLIC POLICY
- Lobby on appropriate business friendly legislation
- Continue participation with the Colorado Economic Leadership Coalition
- Continue participating with the Colorado Competitive Council
- Establish close relationships with other business related advocacy groups
